Teaching Activity by Instructor Type Report
The Teaching Activity by Instructor Type report generates data that you can use to determine the number of students enrolled and the number of student credit hours (SCH) delivered by department and instructor title type.
The enrollments and student credit hours (SCH) in this dashboard are by listing department. To see enrollments and SCH by credited department, use the Departmental Teaching Workload dashboard instead. For full details on the distinction between the calculations for listing and credited department, see Rules for Assignment of Teaching Credit
For team-taught courses, the metrics are prorated based on instructor hours for each member of the team.
Filters
You can select multiple semesters and filter the result set by course-offering unit or course, course level, offering type, instructional format, and instructor function.
Report
The report shows the distribution of enrollment and student credit hours for each semester selected, organized by College/School, Division, Department, and Job Census Hierarchy. The default report view shows the distribution by count. To see the data distributed by percentage, select that from the “Distribution By:” drop-down list at the top of the report.

Level1 Job Census Hier Desc expands into Level2 Job Census Hier Desc, Level3 Job Census Hier Desc, and Employee Job Desc.
You can also drill across for more details on course or job census for a specific division by selecting a link within the Crs Academic Short Nm or Level1 Job Census Hier Desc columns. Selecting the link in the heading expands all rows, while selecting the link in a row expands the data for that row only.
