Course Grade Distribution

The Course Grade Distribution dashboard reports contain data about average course grades and grade distributions so you can compare to the department and see trends over time.

Report Questions That Can Be Answered
Grade Trends
  • How many students received a letter grade in classes offered by a specific Department?
  • What was the average grade for the different colleges and schools, divisions, departments, course subjects or courses?
Grade Distribution
  • What percentage or count of students got a specific letter grade in a specific class?
  • Do some instructors give lower grades than others? (i.e., what was the average grade and grade distribution for any class on campus and who taught that class in a given semester)?
  • What does the grading curve look like for a specific course?
Course View
  • How many students were awarded A's in a specific section of a course?
  • What was the average grade in a specific section a particular class?

Curriculum Long Term Planning

The Curriculum Long Term Planning dashboard reports contain data about course offerings, enrollments, student credit hours, and average class size over time so you can see and respond to trends.

Departmental Teaching Workload

The Departmental Teaching Workload dashboard reports contain data about teaching activity credited to an academic department at the university.

  • How many Student Credit Hours did an academic unit receive credit for by type of instructor teaching?

The Students & Courses dashboard reports contain data about the majors of the students enrolled in a course as well as which courses majors are taking.

  • What type of instructor (e.g., regular faculty, lecturer, graduate student, etc.) taught courses offered by a given Department or Division?
  • What percent of enrollments in a given Department were taught, for example, by Associate Professors?

  • Which lecturers have taught a specific course in the past 10 years?  Two years?

Weekly Enrollment Management

The Weekly Enrollment Management dashboard reports contain data about course offerings and enrollments for each week of the semester’s registration period so you can align capacity to demand for courses. They also allow you to compare this semester's enrollments with the enrollments last year in the same week and at the end of term.
