The Course Grade Distribution dashboard is now available only to people with access to restricted student dashboards. We will replace it in June 2024 with a more generally available version named the Class Grade Distribution dashboard. If possible, please use the Our Berkeley Grades by Course & Term dashboard, until the new dashboard is available.

The GAEL rate for PI Portfolio projections has been updated from FY21 1.55% to FY22 1.75%. This went live on 9/10 after 5 pm. Projections created before this went live still show the FY21 1.55% rate. They need to be updated in order to trigger the FY22 rate to show. The update can be minor, like adding a period in the comment. Projections created after this update went live show the FY22 1.75% rate automatically.

We have created and updated a wide array of reporting dashboards, and are happy to let you know the project is now complete. Cal Answers Payroll and HR Communities,
As part of the UCPath conversion, we have updated the Cal Answers Payroll dashboard and we are pleased to announce it is now live with data from UCPath. The Payroll dashboard you have been using up to this point has been renamed Legacy Payroll dashboard and now includes only pre-UCPath data through March 8, 2019, and post-UCPath expense transfers performed in PPS through September 30, 2019. We have also made significant updates to the Position Management and Workforce Detail dashboards.

Cal Answers is moving to CalNet 2-step verification. Beginning on Sunday, December 15, when you log in to Cal Answers, you'll be asked to sign in with your CalNet ID and then approve access to your account via DUO. Once you've signed in, you'll be taken directly to the Cal Answers system home page.

As part of the UCPath conversion, we updated the Cal Answers HR Workforce Detail dashboard and we are pleased to announce it is now live with data from UCPath. The HR Workforce Detail dashboard you have been using has now been renamed to Legacy Workforce Detail dashboard, and has pre-UCPath data through March 8, 2019. Additionally we've released a new Employee Crosswalk dashboard, which will allow you to search legacy employee identification numbers to find UCPath employee identification numbers.

BFS and Cal Answers Community,
Now that UCPath is live, payroll journals will post in BFS and be displayed in Cal Answers more frequently. As a result, we will no longer send email notifications when payroll data are made available in reports.
Payroll expense transfers processed in PPS for pre-UCPath payroll entries (transactions for pay periods ending 03/09/19 and prior) will continue to be posted once a month in BFS with the PPS data available for reporting in the legacy Payroll Expense report in Cal Answers.

Cal Answers and HR BAIRS Community,
We are pleased to announce the Cal Answers Campus Workforce (HR) dashboards are now live. The Cal Answers team partnered with Human Resources professionals from central and campus units to develop dashboards to replace the HR reporting currently in BAIRS, which is being retired in December.
Please take this opportunity to use Cal Answers for all seasonal HR reporting activities while BAIRS is still available to ensure you understand how to find the information you need within the new Workforce Detail and Workforce Summary dashboards.

You can now find the first 2018-19 snapshot of undergraduate admissions data (applicants only) in the Cal Answers Undergraduate Applicants -> UG Applicant Counts tab. Counts for both freshman and transfer applicants are up this year, compared to last year (5% and 3%, respectively).
A couple of things to note about this applicant snapshot:

Undergraduate Applicant Admitted and Intent to Register (SIRed) headcount data for the 2017-18 academic year is now available in the Cal Answers Student Applicants -> Undergraduate Applicants dashboard reports. While this installment provides an update to the 2017-18 Admit and SIRed data, the final data for the current academic year will be loaded with the third installment scheduled for October 2017.
