You can now find the first 2018-19 snapshot of undergraduate admissions data (applicants only) in the Cal Answers Undergraduate Applicants -> UG Applicant Counts tab. Counts for both freshman and transfer applicants are up this year, compared to last year (5% and 3%, respectively).
A couple of things to note about this applicant snapshot:
-
The ACT Writing test (which is not part of the ACT composite score), has moved to a new scoring scale (2-12, rather than the old 1-36). This is noted in the Student Applicants wiki, and we are continuing to work on other updates regarding this change.
-
Due to source data issues, the Neither_Parent_Has_4_Year_College_Degree and Neither_Parent_Has_Attended_College fields on the UG Applicant by Multiple Fields tab show all 2018-19 applicants as Unknown for this snapshot. We're still working on getting that data and are hopeful to have it available by the time we do the second 2018-19 snapshot in July.
