Legacy Payroll


Payroll Dashboard

The Payroll dashboard displays Payroll information for payroll processed through UCPath and leave balances and activity from UCPath and PPS. This dashboard has UCPath data for pay periods from March 2019 onwards; it replaces the existing legacy payroll reports and enables Payroll, HR, and Finance professionals to access information about payroll expenses generated through UCPath, as well as summarized leave information.

Report Questions That Can Be Answered
UCPath Expense Detail
  • What are the pay types and amount that have been processed for employees in my unit?
  • What effort/hours are associated with that pay?
  • Where was the payroll charged?
Absence Management Summary
  • What are the types and amounts of leave available to employees in my unit?
  • What are the accrual, usage, and adjustment balances for the employees in my unit?
  • Which employees are at or approaching their maximum balances?

Legacy Payroll Dashboard

The Legacy Payroll dashboard reports are available to approved Cal Answers Payroll users and displays all the Payroll Expense Detail information from the PPS payroll source system through February 2019. This dashboard also includes information about Employee Leave Accruals.
