LRDP Population is an interactive report developed for the Long Range Development Plan (LRDP) process. It displays, by year and student level, census snapshot Fall/Spring average counts of students who are either countable or not countable for LRDP population purposes.
Prompts
By default, the prompts are set to include all available academic years, back to 2018-19, and to include graduate students (“G”),undergraduates (“U”), and students concurrently enrolled through UC Berkeley Extension (“X”). You can adjust the filters as desired.
Report
The report output is divided into three sections: LRDP Countable Summary, LRDP Countable Detail, and LRDP Non-Countable Detail.
LRDP Countable Summary
This table shows overall annual undergraduate and graduate totals, for students who are countable for LRDP purposes.

The LRDP Countable Detail report shows that the Fall/Spring year-average headcount for LRDP-countable UC Berkeley Masters/Professional students dropped from 4,217.5 (2019-20) to 3,861.5 (2020-21). By contrast, enrollment increased substantially in the following year to 4,717.0 (2021-22).
