The Summer by Multiple Fields report is a customizable table of census and end-of-term student counts for Summer terms by student level, summer student type, and campus unit.
You can use this report to gain insights into the numbers of summer students that are UC students and the campus they are from as well as the number of non UC students.
Like the other reports with multiple fields, you can look at the data by ethnicity, gender, entry status, class level, registration status, California residency status, and academic unit.
Prompts
Use the prompts to filter on year & semester, snapshot, undergrad/grad, summer student type, college/school, division, department, and major.
We describe the frequently used and less intuitive columns here. The Wiki data dictionary has descriptions of all columns.
- Snapshot indicates whether data was captured on the official census date (the 5th Saturday following the start of instruction for Fall and Spring; or the 2nd Saturday following the start of instruction for each Summer session) or at the end of the term. This field is also sometimes referred to by its database field name, Exclude Sb Week Desc.
- Summer Student Type indicates whether the student is from UC Berkeley, another UC campus, or not from UC.
