Cal Answers and HR BAIRS Community,
We are pleased to announce there is a new Human Resources report available in the Cal Answers HR Workforce Detail dashboard. The Cal Answers team partnered with Human Resources professionals from central and campus units to respond to feedback and create the Termination and Org Change report. This report shows information on appointments with an org change, as well as appointments that have been terminated. It will allow you to filter by current or prior org node, job code, or appointment type. This report replaces the HR-BAIRS termination report and includes org change functionality previously unavailable in the former report.
Please take this opportunity to use Cal Answers for all HR reporting activities while BAIRS is still available to ensure you understand how to find the information you need within the new Workforce Detail and Workforce Summary dashboards.

HR Reporting Wiki: The wiki for Workforce Detail and Workforce Summary includes definitions of the terms used in the dashboards and an overview of each reporting tab.

Updated HR Reporting Workforce Detail job aid: This job aid includes Information on the Workforce Detail dashboard, including the new Termination and Org Change report.

General Cal Answers Training: For those who are new to Cal Answers, there are additional training materials available on the Cal Answers website, including videos and job aids, as well as registration for ongoing training classes in basic Cal Answers navigation.
Access to the HR Reporting dashboards
The project team has granted access to the HR Reporting dashboards to those who have access to the current HR reports in BAIRS. If you have access to the Workforce Detail dashboards, you will see the same data as you see in HR-BAIRS today.
If you do not currently have access to the HR reports in BAIRS and would like to request access to Cal Answers HR Reporting, please use the System Access Request Application (SARA)
