Data sources and update schedule

  • Graduate admissions data is loaded three times per application cycle. Each snapshot is more complete than the previous one. Cal Answers shows only the most recent snapshot for a given year.
    • October snapshot contains initial admissions data
    • March snapshot includes finalized fall matriculations as well as some of the spring admission data.
    • June snapshot includes data for some programs that follow non-standard academic calendars. This is the final load of complete data.
  • Most programs admit to the fall term, but not all
  • The dashboard includes data for most, but not all, graduate programs. Data for Professional Programs in the School of Law is not included. However, data for the Jurisprudence and Social Policy PhD program within the School of Law are displayed in the Grad Applicant dashboard.
