Cal Answers Current Employee CBR dashboard available

July 31, 2020
Cal Answers Financials Community,
We are pleased to announce the Cal Answers Current Employee CBR dashboard is available. This dashboard contains job funding data used to determine the projected Composite Benefit Rate (CBR) for employees along with the funding account for each employee that matches what is in UCPath.
The report is primarily meant to be used for budget planning purposes. It can also be used to see if an employee with a job in your department might have other roles that cause a different CBR account and CBR amount than you expect. This report is intended to provide visibility to employee/position funding information, the CBR account, and CBR amount that map to each funding row.
This report cannot be used to fully predict how payroll expenses and CBR will be transacted in the Actuals ledger in the future and it cannot be used to examine past payroll transactions. The data in UCPath is date-driven and this report only shows data for the current date. Also, various payroll transactions (such as retroactive pay, leave processing, etc.) may result in a different CBR calculation than is displayed in this report.
