Today we launched a new Cal Answers home page to make it easier to find your dashboards. When you log in, you’ll now be able to choose from the most popular dashboards using an expandable list in the center of the page. A place to enter bookmark links, Cal Answers alerts and other helpful links are available on the right. Watch a short video overview and review the Cal Answers Remodeled Home Page job aid for more information on how to navigate the new page layout.

Please note that you may need to clear your browser cache before you can access the updated home page. Check out the BAI website for instructions on how to clear your specific browser cache. We recommend using Chrome to launch Cal Answers, or Firefox if you don’t have Chrome. Learn more about browser compatibility on the Cal Answers website.

What’s changed?

Only the home page has been updated. The contents of the dashboards, your folders, and the blue menu bar at the top of Cal Answers are the same. You can access your recent dashboards from the “Recent” link in the blue menu bar. If you can’t find the dashboard that you need in the expandable list, you can still access the complete list in the “Dashboards” menu on the blue bar at the top of the page.

How does it work?

To open a dashboard, find the appropriate subject area in the list and expand it to access links to each related dashboard.

Ad hoc users can access “New Analysis” by going to the toolbar at the top and choosing “New” and then “Analysis.” Saved briefing books and folders are accessible by choosing the “Catalog” link in the blue menu bar at the top of the page.

We hope you enjoy using the new home page!
